Culham Road, Abingdon OX14 3HP Make sure you turn into the cricket club field NOT the football club. Facilities: No electricity, but has fresh water, grey waste and cassette dump point. There is also a toilet on site. Booking: No advanced booking required. However, we have contacted the C&CC steward, Graham, and he said that if we provide him with a list of names by May 2025, then he will ensure that we are all parked together. What a helpful chap! Cost: £14.50 per night payable on arrival. Cash please. Thank you to Chris and Brenda who have kindly proposed a summer meet up in Abingdon in July. Abingdon is a charming town on River Thames. It is a very beautiful area with cycle routes and walking paths, The campsite is a short walk into town with plenty of pubs and cafes. You can stroll along the Thames Path or cycle farther a field if you wish. If you like something a bit different, you can hire a motorboat on the river. The red drop pin on the OS map (below) shows the proximity of the site to the river and town. The event is a Camping and Caravanning Club Meet. All C&CC memebers are welcome but you must be a member. You cannot join up on arrival and guests are not permitted, (this is different from the Temporary Holiday Site rules.
